In this example, clicking on the price will add Stencil #1: Garden Heart to your shopping basket and lead you to a screen that looks like this:
This page will keep a running tally of all your intended purchases. At this point, you are under absolutely no obligation to buy anything in your basket. Using the "Increase Quantity" or "Decrease Quantity" buttons, you can adjust the number of each design you wish to order. Use the "Remove Item" button if you change your mind about a particular design and want to remove it from your basket. Use the "Empty Your Basket" button if you change your mind about everything in your basket or if you want to start over.
You can either go back and look for additional stencils by clicking on the "Continue Shopping" button, or click on the "Check Out Now" button if you've found all the designs you need and are ready to enter your payment information.
If you choose to check out now, you'll go to a screen that asks if you are a resident of Ohio for sales tax purposes. After answering, you'll go to the following screen:
You will be presnted with the following options:
- Order by Credit Card On-Line
- This is the option most people will pick if they decide to order on-line. We use a secure server so no one can intercept your credit card number while in transit. By choosing this option, we can receive your order as soon as you click on the final "Submit Order" button.
- Order by Credit Card using FAX
- If you're still uncomfortable putting your credit card number on-line even though we use a secure server, you can choose this option. Once you've typed in all shipping information (entering your credit card number is optional), you'll be asked to print out the resulting order form. You can then FAX the printed form to us (after writing in your credit card number if you opted to omit it while on-line) for quick fulfillment.
- Order by Check/MO through Postal Mail
- This procedure is similar to "Order by Credit Card using FAX" except instead of faxing the order to us, you can send it to us with a check or money order. To order by mail, you may prefer to download our order form (in PDF format), print it, and send it.
- Order by Credit Card through Postal Mail
- Again, this is very similar to "Order by Credit Card using FAX." This time, instead of submiting your order on-line, you print the form and mail it along with credit card information to: Blue Ribbn Stencils / 26 S. Horton Street / Dayton, OH 45403.
You will then be taken to the final screen in the shopping basket process. It will be slightly different depending on the option you chose above. The screen for the first option (Order by Credit Card On-Line) is illustrated below:
The form is self explanitory, but the "Special Instructions / Comments (if any)" label located just below the "Shopping Cart Contents" box is difficult to read (we're working on it). The important thing to remember about this page is this: nothing is charged to your credit card until you click on the "Submit Order" button at the bottom of the page. You can freely "test drive" the system all the way up to the point of actually clicking on that button.
